The symbiosis of hard and soft tissue management for long-term implant success: a biological concept

Abstract

Soft tissue management remains an important factor for a natural esthetic outcome, the healing of the grafted area and long-term outcome of the implant. Innovative flap designs and soft tissue augmentation techniques allow natural soft tissue recontouring to be achieved in all three dimensions.
The lecture will focus on the clinical and biological factors that influence predictable long-term success of autogenous hard and soft tissue grafting in implant dentistry.

Workshop: Split Bone Block and Bone Core Technique (Khoury-Technique): Safe and minimally invasive procedures for predictable implant aesthetics

Abstract

Autogenous hard and soft tissue grafts are still considered the gold standard for three-dimensional reconstructions of atrophic alveolar ridges due to their bioactive potential. Techniques such as the Split Bone Block Technique (Khoury Technique) or the Bone Trephine Core Technique allow predictable horizontal and vertical alveolar regeneration.
The emphasis of the workshop is on the clinical management of safe and minimally invasive techniques demonstrating numerous clinical cases and videos.
