Dr Demetriades is an Associate Professor and program director for oral and maxilloafacial  and plastic surgery course and fellowship program director for the  one year facial aesthetic surgery fellowship program at European University School of Medicine

He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens, Greece and his Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Health Science of Antigua and Tufts Medical Center Boston USA and his Master of Science Degree from Tufts University, Boston, USA. He completed his advanced education training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center in Boston U.S.A. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery research and Facial Cosmetic Surgery, at Tufts University Boston USA as well.

Dr. Demetriades is a dual Diplomate by the American Boards of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Boards of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He is currently an examiner of the American Boards Of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Demetriades is currently the president of the Cyprus Association of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Demetriades is sub-specialized in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Orthognathic Surgery. He is an author on numerus book chapters and publications in the field of facial cosmetic surgery.
